I heard that she was in the clear recently and that it is likely that she won’t be facing criminal charges. I have to say I am torn about the situation. On one hand she did it to support her “green” cause, on the other, I just wish she would’ve used better judgment. Oh well if the United Way can forgive her as well accept her apology, I see no reason for the hostility towards her.

like here: Bob Spinks, President of United Way of Central Oklahoma, said that the group accepts Alba’s apology.

“Just as she is passionate about her cause, we are passionate about serving the people of central Oklahoma,” Spinks said.

“The interesting thing about this is with our fundraising campaign kicking off today, it’s been sort of a funny thing that this has happened at this particular point. This is probably the best unearned media we’ve had in a long time.”

The United Way isn’t upset with Jessica, why are you so superior to the United Way that you get to decide?

Jessica alba should bring attention to United Way
programs that help people. I think if she looked into
united way she would find a more productive way to help
our earth and the human race.
There are many people in need jessica. United way needs
your support not your acts of vandalism

Just another case of a celebrity thinking that her issues are mre important than the regular people’s. United Way’s message didn’t count in her mind even though they help people who are in desperate situations. She should pay for the clean up.

just because she’s rich does not give her the right to destroy the property of others. Typical Hollywood behavior though. A United Way charity poster will now have to be replaced with money that should been used to help children & the poor. nice, real nice.
