Maxim has released it’s annual hot 100 list of 2008, and Jessica who came 2nd last year, is at 34 this year. This is ridiculous considering the top 10.

Gearing up for her latest movie, the Mike Myers comedy The Love Guru, Jessica Alba takes on the guise of screen comedy’s first iconic figure, Charlie Chaplin – all for the June issue of Allure.
In the course of the accompanying interview, the pregnant Alba, 27, opens up about her sexy public image and how she finally learned to feel comfortable with her body.
Some highlights from the interview:
On Her Steamy Public Image: “[Hollywood] always play[s] up your sexuality, because that’s what gets men into the theaters. And I never really gave a s— about all that stuff! It’s nothing to be ashamed of. But it is definitely not what I am about by any means!”
On Owning Her Sexuality:“I don’t think I was comfortable with my sexuality until I was an adult, probably, like, 22 – that’s when I stopped apologizing and stopped feeling ashamed. I did the Vagina Monologues in L.A. That made me proud.”
On Sex Before Marriage:“I never believed women had to be virgins when they got married, or that a woman has to fall in love with a guy just because they’re having sex. I don’t think sex is a big deal. I hated the hypocrisy of it. Men can do whatever, and it’s acceptable.”
“The Hills” star has joined the cast of “Into the Blue 2,” MGM Home Entertainment and Bluewater Prods.’ sequel to the Jessica Alba starrer.
The film revolves around Sebastion (Chris Carmack, “The O.C.”) and Dani (Laura Vandervoort, “Smallville”), a married couple hired as professional divers to search for Columbus’ hidden treasure. To their horror, they learn that their wealthy employers have a much more terrifying agenda.
Patridge will play a no-nonsense, beautiful beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every command.
Charles Winkler is directing and producing. Hudson Hickman, Craig Roessler and Sarah Berrisford are executive producers.
Patridge, repped by APA and John Carrabino Management, is the first reality celeb from “The Hills” to get an acting role in a film. The show’s Lauren Conrad appeared in the 2007 Regency comedy “Epic Movie” as herself.
“The Hills,” MTV’s highest-rated series, recently was picked up for a fourth season, which will debut in August.
The first “Blue,” which MGM made with Columbia in 2005, took in a little more than $18 million at the U.S. boxoffice, then made a killing on DVD on the strength of a bikini-clad Alba and the ab-tastic Paul Walker.
Jessica topped the Australian FHM Sexiest list of 2008, and to celebrate this, she is the cover girl for the June issue. 5th May, 2008 - Jessica Alba is planning to spice up her life when she becomes a first-time mum this summer (08) - by mastering Indian cookery. The heavily-pregnant actress kicked off a series of culinary classes at popular Hollywood restaurant Flavor of India on Monday (05May08). The Fantastic Four star developed a taste for India while starring in Mike Myers’ new comedy The Love Guru - and now she’s keen to turn her kitchen into a curry house. Hungry Alba admits food has become a big deal ever since she learned she was pregnant last year (07). She says, “I have to make sure that I’m eating more of the right nutrients and vitamins, but I’m not used to eating this much. “I’ve had to take time out of the day to eat before I get cranky and rundown and tired. Before I was just like the energizer bunny. “But the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy when I eat.” (Newscom).
Mother-to-be Jessica Alba stepped away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood life - hand out gifts to pregnant teenagers. The Fantastic Four star visited Thomas Riley High School in Los Angeles, California, to offer a helping hand to underage expectant mothers. Alba, 27, handed out gifts to the girls, to help the youngsters with their new babies.
Dressed in a floor-length navy blue dress and a white shirt, Alba looked radiant as she walked in through the front entrance of the school. The actress wore oversized sunglasses and carried a bottle of water, greeting teachers and members of staff. “The girls were clearly thrilled to see her,” one onlooker said. “As soon as they heard her car pull up they were all leaning out of the door, cheering and waving. “This area is much less affluent and a lot less glamorous than Jessica is used to, but she didn’t seem to care. “She was helping carry the gifts in and hand them out - even though she is not far off giving birth. “It would be nice if all celebrities were like this.”
